Trial of Chaos - I put the left ear in and can't take it out :(

Hi, so I have video proof and screenshots that I dropped the Deadly fate, and since its my first time playing the game, I got to the end of the same trial of chaos and put the ear in, just to see (all on video).

I'm really new, and this is a 100 exalted orbs drop, I was wondering if there is anything you guys can do, why couldn't I just take it out :(
