Controlled Metamorphasis Diamond turned into an Emerald

I purchased the diamond via trade on 2/13 for 140 EO, it created the large ring and showed the 2nd ring inside of the large ring but never assigned the passives so I waited a few days while it sat in my unique stash. Today on 2/15 I tried to put it into the jewel slot and it flashed and the diamond disappeared and i had an emerald now in that slot. The Diamond is now gone, but i kept the emerald that was pretty much trash.

I've been seen similar thing on some twitch clip, the guy pulled out jewel and it turned into a rare corrupted one literally under his cursor
