Unable to Attack when Activating Strongboxes

Sometimes when interacting with a strongbox my character is no longer able to do any attacks. I can freely move around and roll, but none of the hotkeys will work and I'm also not able to create a teleport. Only solution is for me to log out as this issue persists indefinitely otherwise.

Edit - I've now experienced this happening when interacting with a shrine.
