Dear POE2 Official Team,

I encountered an issue while playing the game. When I was exploring a Tier 15 map, I noticed that the wild monsters were not aggressive towards me. Even when I attacked them, they did not retaliate. I am unsure if this is a bug, and I am concerned about whether my account might be at risk of being banned due to this. I hope to gain some clarity by proactively reaching out to the official team.

The gameplay session in question took place on March 16, 2025, at 16:58.

On the off chance that this is actually legitimate, you need to post a PoE 2 bug report in the Early Access Bug Reports section, not in the PoE 1 Gameplay Help and Discussion. If you notice a bug, type "/bug" in your chat and then post the bug reference number in your bug report.

As far as getting banned you have nothing to worry about unless you discovered an exploit and then intentionally abused it. Basically, if you discovered exactly why no monsters attacked you then ran 1000 Waystones in a row fitting that criteria, then you would be exploiting the game and at risk for a ban.
Title:[BUG] Instant death with high ES and high life regen – possible Blood Mage overflow issue ( POE 2)

Build summary:

Blood Mage archetype

Using a jewel with Alternate Tree (version 7, seed 41301, keystone selection = 4)

Life regeneration is scaled with spell casting (very high regen rate when casting rapidly)

Energy Shield pool is ~7000+, and it was still over 6000 at the moment of death

No chaos damage mitigation issues

Playing solo (no party or PvP)

Bug Description:

While playing normally, my character suddenly died instantly, even though:

Energy Shield was still very high (over 6000, not broken)

Life was regenerating quickly due to cast-based regen scaling

No visible DoT effects were active (no poison, ignite, or corrupted blood)

No clear visual indicators of incoming danger

No signs of chaos or degeneration bypassing defenses

There was no warning or visible cause. It felt like regeneration was ignored, or something directly bypassed defenses in a way that doesn't match expected behavior for Blood Mage builds.

Possible cause (my theory):
As a Blood Mage, I cast skills using life. I suspect this death might be caused by a rare edge case:

My remaining HP exactly matched the life cost of the skill, and after casting, the character instantly died — even though normally, Blood Magic prevents casting if HP is too low.

If this is the case, it might be a bug in how life cost vs. remaining HP is calculated, especially in combination with high regen or latency.

No screenshot or video is available, unfortunately.

The issue is rare and inconsistent, but it has happened more than once.
