Xbox Black Morrigan Not Working

I bought a Black Morrigan in trade. I used the orb in the Menagerie. The 6L recipe unlocked and Morrigan was available as a recipe. I put my 6 Socket chest in the Menagerie and started the recipe with it and the sand spitter. I killed all the monsters including the Morrigan. The Menagerie didn't register that anything had happened, and the gate never opened.

Please advise.
