Can't even complete act 1 cruel

As the title says.. The waypoint is on the beginning until I finally reach the final boss.. And in my way to the boss, I already have 4 disconnects before reaching the boss.. And everytime I connect again, I lost the progression and I am back to the begginng.. I really would like to continue progressing the game but it's impossible.. If it continues this way, I Just have to give up playing until the network issues are fixed. Playing on ps5
