Can't get off boat in Beacon of Salvation Hideout

But now that Huntress is available, my Companion: Quadrilla stands in the way, so (at least on controller) I can't interact with the boat tie-off on the dock to get off the boat.

I have to again remove the obstruction (in this case unsocket the Companion), or exit to character selection.
