Viridian wildwood death completes and locks the map

I died at the viridian wildwood map. Then the book of knowledge drop on my dead, and the map was blocked except the parts I explored (The dark fog did not clear in places I had not been).

I went into that dark fog that was not clearing, still rares left on the map, and I got teleported to a weird room with a checkpoint and a portal back to the hideout.

In addition the game was crashing when I tried running around in this weird extra room. Managed to portal to hideout after restarting the game a few times.

Seems like the exact same thing just happend to me as well.

Died, book dropped, came back in a small cave with just the tp to hideout in it.
Map also says it's completed.

edit: When i got back up to hideout the book could be retrieved from Doryani.

Went in there, killed a few rares and got the book. Map was completed, but I still had rares left on the map and I wanted to full clear the map since it was the first time trying it out.
I moved on and suddently the map was just all black in the area I went into. I kept going and was teleported into a small area with just 1 checkpoint and nothing else. I could click the checkpoint, but I couldnt use the checkpoint to get out though. Had to just port back to my hideout and abandom the map.

After gotta book, when i go forward there's something like invisible wall and it makes my character go slow and then suddenly enter to the unknown room with only one checkpoint

Has now happened twice in 20 minutes. Multiple versions of the Viridian Wildwood death bug.

Doryani does NOT have it available for me sadly.

This map SUCKS!

I'm in the middle of doing it. Find a dark area, go to see it has an amen hiding in it, and the map sends me to a room in the map with a check point, and no way to renter and finish the map.

GGG - pull your broken maps until you fix them. Having us waste time on them over and over for no reason helps no one.

+1 exactly the same bug as described above.

Map was fine until I picked up book then teleported to a closed small area with checkpopint and no access to rest of map.
