The Azak Bog Buff

I noticed that when I was doing the Azak Bog campaign area, I did the side quest to get the fire resistance and rarity buff - but coincidently I got a trade quest while inside that place and since it's huge I accepted it , not knowing I would lose that buff once I left the area. I'm not sure if its intended?

That buff ends as soon as you leave the area.
