Standstill on activating thaw charm with freeze strongbox

Triggering a strongbox that freezes you on activation with a thaw charm with charge(s) sometimes leads to coming to a complete standstill shortly after (not immediately) activating the strongbox despite triggering the thaw charm and never recovers unless you log out. There is no freeze animation, and when it's happened before it never recovers unless you log out, or end up dying.
