Weapon not dropping when chracter is made.

you know, when you first create a character, the guy who dies from a zombie bitten by it, drops weapon to start the journey. but in my case, it does not drop!!!
I have created 7 different characters, I have deleted my old characters to see if that makes differences and I have made different classes to see if that makes any differences but it did not.
Also, I have pressed Z many times to see if it was just not visible but that wasn't the case.
Weapon simply does not drop!!!
Please fix this bug.
I have killed the boss with bare hand which took me like an hour because It took a while to kill the boss plus i kept dying because I was beyond too weak.

Do you use an item filter, that hides it?
Then press Alt to show all items.
