PS5 Lord of Ogham Supporter Pack back attachment tiers not changeable

In the Lord of Ogham Supporter Pack, the helmet and the back attachment have 2 "tiers". The helmet has a tier where the face of the PC is visible and one where it isn't. Switching between the 2 works fine. However the back attachment, which should also have 2 tiers, one where the cape is intact and one where it's riddled with corruption, doesn't seem to allow switching between the tiers. When in the cosmetics menu, pressing the appropriate key brings up the little tier menu, but navigating to the other tier and confirming your selection doesn't change the appearance of the back attachment, and notably it doesn't make the click sound when you select the other tier as it does with the helmet.
