The games been broken for months now - I think my save game is corrupted

I have spent hours trying to fix this, when I go to the endgame map on my Dawn of the hunt character, the map is grey then it crashes to the operating system. I reinstalled, rolled back drivers, installed it on Steam and Epic, tried everything suggested on forums, then last week I loaded up my original character endgame, the map struggled at first but it loaded and did not crash, I went back to my Dawn of the hunt character, and it crashed. Now, before this, the map was acting up in-game, I kept trying to do the first task of a corrupted nexus, then the game would freeze and hang, then when I went back, the nexus was just a normal map, this happened on three different nexus map points. I had given up on the entire game, however, do you think it might be the save game that's damaged, and can you fix it?
