Finally found a d-like that i love

After so much bitching i finally found it. my personal holy grail

Titan Quest 2.

theres so many things going on for it.

currently it lacks endgame, crafting, seasonal content and is still unfinished with optimization issues.

but i love it.

poe2 was supposed to be the poe1 rework where melee would be drastically improved and the game slowed down to make combat feel more meaningful.

TQ does all that POE2 set out to do. more slower and deliberate combat. tru melee feeling tru melee.

the bosses feel like dances with death rather than a braindead skill spam.

tho the game is finished and it could turn into another "poe" at the end game anyway. i m loving it for what it is so far.

i've done a lot of "im quitting poe" posts. one reason i keep coming back is simply theres no real game that could satisfy my itch.

now that i've found one. i think its a good time for me to move on.

LE was almost that game but had the end game was similar to poe where you just blasted everything. NRFTW has solid trumelee combat but lacks any skill/passive trees (and i m not too much of a fan of their artstyle).

i'm actually turned off from modern d-likes at this point where everything seems to just go zoom zoom blasting everything.

give tq2 a try. its cheap. and if you dont like it, just refund it on steam as long as you havent hit the 2 hour mark. you'll get a full refund.

on a sidenote. if you like blasting/zooming, you might not find this game enjoyable. there is some minor blasting/zooming but the extent feels way slower compared to poes.
