Free weekend starting league

If I understood everything correctly, then the developers allowed everyone to play in POE2 at the very start of the new league (a couple of days from 29 to 1).
And, moreover, for passing 1 act to receive gifts in the form of skins.

Having vast experience in the starts of the league of the game, I have an impression,
that in PoE2, the free weekend will take place in the usual style, namely endless loads on servers, constant crash, etc.

Think of this like everything else in Early Access. GGG is testing server loads for a sample of what the servers will experience when PoE 2 launches in full. They're also doing a full stress test of their new DDOS protocol.

I always wondered why they just cant add servers up to 5mil players so everyone can enjoy a good start and then just close the non-needed servers

yea u pay a little more but 10-30k$ are probably dirt for em
