POE2 Crashing my whole PC, absolutely nothing is fixing it

I have tried EVERY, SINGLE, FIX, that I have seen online and nothing is fixing my crashes.

I open the game, and my pc shuts off instantly. It is not my temps, and no other game is doing this. I was fully able to play just fine when it launched in December so what changed?

I updated my drivers and DDUed, I turned on XMP, I did some weird jank fixes with files etc, I tried dx11, vulkan, dx12. What else is there

Same PC stats and issue.

I am in the middle of reinstalling the game to a different drive to see if that fixes it, I'll send it over when I inevitably crash again

you aren't alone, the only thing that fixed it for me was turning off engine multithreading, hope that fixes it for you too. My PC froze like 10 times changing various settings, including xmp, undoing my CPU overclock, until I tried engine multi threading.

Edit: I noticed that my PC usually froze when having to go back to clearfell.

I've been testing every option also.. It seems turning off multithreading worked.. but playing on ONE cpu core is painful. Please fix that, sent some data to you on PM.

Same issue. As soon as I try to do somethong in Hideout (use map device or stash tab) game crashes. Tried to lower graphics settings, restart computer, change hideout. Nothiing works. I can access maps form Ziggurat Encampment but Hideout is totally bugged and game is unplayable. I spend 180USD on 2 supporter packs and can even enjoy the game :(

I had the same issue and tried updating the BIOS, drivers, clearing the cache, PoE uncrasher, different renderers, disabling multithreading, changing from the steam launcher to the standalone launcher, turning HDR off, limiting the frames, checking the power settings, trying different display ports on the GPU, reinstalling on the C driver, installing the latest Windows beta update in hopes of a bug fix and then eventually are reinstalling windows which did finally fix the black screen hard crashes for me.

If it helps my specs are a 5090, 9800x3D, 64 GB DDR5 and the install drives were m2e.

Same for me after this patch.. PC hard freezing have to do do hard reboot..

9800x3D, RX9070XT, Samsung 990 Pro M.2 2tb, DDR5 6000mhz.

Have also tried disabling cores, tired DX12, DX11 and Vulcan and anything else I can find on the net to try and stop this game freezing up PC.

Completely random, cant even get a refund and have spent money in the shop now game is unplayable...

Hopefully there might be a fix down the line...
