Map reset on death (Digsite - Aurelian the grand Adjudicator)

Dying in Digsite against Aurelian the Grand Adjudicator makes the current map "disappear". You respawn in a new instance, with only the boss. The rest of the map is totally empty, and you lose any other content that was spawned in it (in my case, Ritual).

This is as intended. Once you start a boss fight if you die it resets the map of everything except the boss. There is a popup/dialogue piece about it
