Trading is great and all

but not being able to use it during the campaign is, quite literally, manure.

I understand its probably to stop RMT and stuff, but if you level during a campaign and you get bad luck in looting, you can basically delete the character and start over?

Don't be silly and use classic trade methods until you unlock new one.

respec to lightning, kill viper, and respec back and move on.

Bots have been able to autonomously play games like this for probably like two decades.
It's a speed bump for them at best.
