How does Remnant Potency 2/3 Interact with Infusions?
The description makes sense for remnants that normally activate immediately but I don't find it clear what effect the delay has on Infusions.
It is recommended for the Spirit Skill that generates infusions from inflicting shock, freeze or ignite so I assume the effect increase does increase their damage when consumed. But what exactly is delayed? Is it just a delay before they can be consumed? Which is probably fine if generating plenty. Or on consuming does it delay the actual effect? Which would suck. Can anyone confirm? Thanks. Último bump em 14 de set. de 2025 11:50:09

So I bit the bullet and made the gem and can confirm that so far as I can tell there is no delay of any kind on the generated remnant.
I tested by putting it on frost bomb and immediately on collection was able to cast empowered Frost Nova. Which makes me wonder if the gem has any effect at all? And how we might confirm either way? Última edição por Orion_3T#9801 em 14 de set. de 2025 11:38:30

A further thought is that it's not clear Infusions actually have any effect that could be increased.
Frost Nova for example has its own stat page for being Cold-Infused, suggesting the extra effects either activate or don't. Flame Wall is less specific though and just states added lightming damage. My thought is that infusions all seem to stack on as status effects and not be tracked individually, they cannot be improved by these sorts of 'increased effect' bonuses to remnants. If this is the case though, Potent Remnants should not be recommended for the Siphon Elements spirit buff but it is. Should this be posted as a bug perhaps? Either they aren't working, or are being recommended inappropriately. Can anyone confirm? |
