Corruption Cleared but No Atlas Skill Points

My friend and I attempted a nexus of corruption, I died but my friend completed it. I didn't get the skill points from completion and upon closing and reattempting the map, the special boss didn't spawn. The surround map is still corrupted too.

Did I just soft lock myself from some Atlas points?

Didn't see Dannig in my hideout, he gives you the Atlas incase you miss it

I don't know about Coop but solo if you die in a Nexus the Nexus is gone even if you do the map again. The corruption around stays and you have to go to the next Nexus for the points.
