Simulacrum - totally impossible

i just tried playing this for the first time. this is just impossible.

have the dev play test this before? it felt the whole design is just wrong. and only allow one single type of build to do it. (360 AOE)

well you're wrong but ok..... On the first one you have unlimited lives don't you????? I do agree that the delirium one feels way harder than breach or ritual but it's still very doable you just gotta move around and make sure to not get stuck anywhere and over run. But if you can't beat it with unlimited portals that's a you problem my guy.

damn, i know for a fact you didnt play delirium in 1.0, cause THAT was overtuned. What we have now is really not that hard at all, you just need damage and stun charm. And yes, you need aoe, which any decent build should have.

i did finished it by brute force respawn.

respawn -> cast fireball -> instantly die from 100 mobs surround at checkpoint and repeat

Simulacrum is a build check, both in terms of defence and offence.

In terms of defences, if you have no armour/evasion/block, then you better have a big ES/life pool + a lot of stun threshold.

On the offence side you need to realize that mobs in simulacrum get a less damage taken buff that increases with each wave and caps at 75% on baby difficulty up to 115% at t3.
You need damage output or you will get overrun and killed, especially if your character is paper thin.

Simulacrum is a meta build exclusive mechanic. If you do not play one of the current league meta builds, you'll have a very bad time.
