Annoying Crossbow Mechanic, Please Change

So playing with Permafrost bolts in early leveling, I have the support gem linked that gives them an extra bolt. If I manually push the button to reload my bolts (like when I am on 1 bolt and moving between packs), my character stops moving in order to reload, but if I am just shooting naturally the bow will reload without any kind of movement stutter when I reach 0 bolts naturally.

This little hitch is pretty annoying, its a small thing but it just feels...awful tbh.

This sounds like an issue with your keyboard configuration where the new keypress is interrupting the existing "held" state. Are you using any kind of macro or rebinding software like Logitech GHUB or similar? This can sometimes happen when you mix macro keys and "real" keys.

When you say reloading, do you mean manually pressing the reload key or just using all your ammo? The stutter happens for me on manual reload. Notably it doesnt seem to happen with any other type of ammo. Im also not using "always attack without moving". Default keyboard settings and keyboard. Thanks for you reply!
