Interaction between Sacred Flame Sceptre and Rakiata's Flow?

I'm trying to figure out if Sacred Flame Scepter actually hurts people using Rakiata's Flow.

Sacred Flame states:

Enemies in your Presence Resist Elemental Damage based on their Lowest Resistance

Rakiata's Flow states:

Hits with the supported skill treat Enemy Monster Elemental Resist values as inverted.


So seeing this would Sacred Flame put the enemy on their Lowest Resistance then Rakiata's would see that and try to invert it, or would Rakiata just ignore the sacred flame since the lowest value would be the highest value inverted?

This should have been the first thing Jhonattan explained when introducing 0.3 league.

I bet these two items really have that debuf.
I'm using them both, most bosses should have all res the same value, so it doesnt really matter in big fights.

i'm running a whirling twister

the way i see this is :

if close range within presence, enemy resist will be of their lowest, so even if it is inverted it's still ok

if far and out of presence, the twister will gain Rakiata gem as it is which is still good

Sacred flame will act first before rakiata, it’s not likely that you can activate skill the exact moment enemy enter your presence. If it’s outside 4m range then only rakiata works.

So if sacred flame is considered first, a monster with -30/0/+30 would first be set to -30/-30/-30, and then rakiata's hit would invert that to +30/+30/+30, efficiently making it stronger in total?
And one with 0/0/30 would be set to 0/0/0 and after that rakiata would simply do nothing?

I really need an aswer about this mechanic interaction
I'm playing a Mjolner EQ titan and the best in slot scepter is actually the palm of the dreamer but it's too expensive.
So i actually use sacred flamme , and i have a rakiata avaible but don't know if i should use it or if it's going to lower my dps

yeah, this is how it works. it has anti synergy and minimizes the value of inverting resists.

whereas Doryani's Prototype could be used to raise a mobs lightning res before being inverted.
