About reforging unique item Rite of Passage

Hi there,i try to reforging unique item Rite of Passage(3 to 1),1st try i use 3 Serpents and get one Owl.then 2nd try i used another 3 Serpents but get Owl again.I though it was the Serpents problem so 3rd try i use Ox+Owl+Boar but still get one Owl.I dont think it was a probability question.So could you please help me clear up my confusion that whether the result of recasting can only be an owl.

they may be weighted differently an owl is just the most common one or just rng was being rng but it's a mod and the fact the other ones exist means they have to be able to roll. The game doesn't care if an item was dropped or thru reforging it's just an un-IDed version of that item the mods would be rolled in the same way
