Unable to (re)-move Items/decorations in Hideout on console

Disclaimer: This issue is probably a console only Problem (PS5)

Currently, when I place a (big) decoration in my Hideout, it's no longer possible to select said Item and move or remove it after I have placed it. I think it's due to limitations on the controller. It would be nice if we could use the joysticks or arrows to switch between selected Items, this could solve the issue.
