Map Boss Bug

I believe the name of the map boss is The Noxious Behemoth or something like that in the "Hive" map. He teleports to a far corner of the map every time I encounter him into a pile of pustules that constantly explode then recreate themselves. He's nearly unkillable unless I can manage to one-shot him on a lower tier map. This can't be intended.
