Maps not generating extra content

For some reason my maps in abyss league are not creating extra map content when I enter maps and only maintain what I add to them via tablets. This is only happening on my softcore atlas; my hardcore atlas works fine, but that may be due to the fact that I only recently started playing hardcore and made it to maps after the patch.
