Path of Exile 2 0.3.1 Essence of the Abyss + Omen of Sinistral Crystallization bug

I tried to Essence craft to the prefixes, but it wasn't working. It gave error messages. I rebooted the game, with the items in the inventory as was suggested in the forums. But even that was not working. What worked was spamming, until I guess the Essence was able to choose a prefix.
