Corrupting „Controlled Metamorphosis Diamond“ bugged

Hey guys,
I just corrupted some Controlled Metamorphosis Diamonds with Vaal + Omen of Corruption when I noticed that the „area effect“ in a certain radius just disappeared. Out of 7 corrupted Diamonds three were like that. Did anybody experienced the same? Is it a legit corruption? Let me know.
