Checkpoints not always visible on maps

Hi!

Checkpoints not always visible on maps, those that we already found.
Just when clicking on one, there will be shown the others.

Many times just need to run to some random direction, hoping there will be a Checkpoint (already discovered) somewhere around.

Also checkpoints in general just suck.

How are checkpoints not just a working viable thing, I don't know. This isn't the complex stuff. I have no clue.

How can a company that has created this game, not nail down checkpoints. Like, just get it done and wipe it off the list.
