melee ranger? could use help with ideas and builds

Hello there,

Thought about doing a melee ranger, yes I know it's their class preference (RANGE-er) but I want to go against the norm lol.

Want to hear some build ideas and tips, mainly thinking of using either a sword or dagger (may use dual wield, haven't thought that far lol), skills? maybe dual slash with chance to poison, gotta get those dps numbers up

I don't plan on doing any endgame stuff, barely beaten the campaign lol

Wanna hear what you think, aside from how awful I am at building characters. I'm trying :(

I like to run Frost Blade Rangers alot, often with daggers or claws.
