Trial of Chaos Instance Issue

Could someone please help me as I am a bit stuck.

I cannot open a new trial of chaos as the one I was attempting before I teleported out is still open but the instance no longer exists.

I have tried to respawn, close the game together with steam and reopen it, switch between characters but I cannot open the trial again.

The chat messages were "Cannot connect to instance. That subarea no longer exists" when trying to enter the trial and "The operation could not be completed" when attempting to start a new trial.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Insert a new ultimatum, click (RB on xbox) to close the old istance and open a new one doesnt work?
Or go to town/hideout then waypoint, hold button on trial of chaos and create new istance?
