Can't move when interacting with certain events

Hi. Sometimes when interacting with strongboxes or essence events, I can't move the character or cast skill. This seems to happen with click to move, pressing option and changing to WASD fix this issue, but changing again to click to move I still cannot move. This has happened a couple of times making the character ending dead by the mobs and it's getting annoying. I'm playing as a Monk.
