Trials of chaos doesn’t work, disconnects

After beating the first room trials closes when you pull the switch to raise the bridge. The game disconnects every time I get here making it impossible to complete the trial. System is based on ps5

So bridge switches and putting in the blood soul core cause disconnects. Got lucky enough to not get switches just to get to the soul cores and the same thing happens.

Seemed to be anything you have to interact with using the X button causes a disconnect.
