Just found that respawn at checkpoint fixes the issue.

" Except if you're in town. Have to exit to character selection. This has happened twice for me now since creating my character. I'm only level 8. Once was in a zone; I had left my game on pause and came back 30 or so minutes later to the red screen of death. Respawned at checkpoint worked. This occasion I was just at my stash in town and, boom, red screen again. Bug reference number 371990794 |
