Expedition Chests Despawning

I am attempting to run Expedition in maps. I target the chests with the explosives. I see the chests appear on the ground. Before I get an opportunity to click on them they are disappearing. Pressing alt or z does not get them to show back up. Expedition content is not playable like that in this state.
