Arbiter of Ash completely bugged - lost a div after having to relog and can't enter portals

I spent over a divine on fragments due to not being able to find a citadel for over 10 hours in endgame. Enter the fight, die a few times and respawn without issue. After the fourth respawn attempt, the game froze up, then the boss keeps moving and I'm laying on the ground dead, no loading screen. The boss is moving around the arena as if the fight is still going on. I wait 5 minutes, decide to relog. Portals are still up in hideout but I can't rejoin "failed to join instances because: You cannot rejoin this area after dying". Extremely frustrating, 150ex down the drain...
