Disconnected and came back to no portals

I got disconnected from my map, and when I came back, the game had deleted my portals. Should have had 5 portals left. Second time this has happened tonight. Also, when I logged back into my character, the general chat had reset to a random 2 digit one instead of the random 5 digit one I was in.
