Issues with Atlas

I am experiencing a couple of issues with my Atlas map in POE 2.

1. When I insert 50 Breach Splinters into the Realmgate, the portals appear, but entering them and interacting with the Breach Hand starts the timer without spawning any mobs.
When the timer ends, I’m returned to the start, the mobs then spawn, and I fail the encounter, losing my splinters. All the portals are still available, but when I enter them, I cannot progress.

I experienced the same issues last season as well.

2. I failed the map containing the first Corrupted Nexus, and no more corrupted zones are appearing on my map. Even in the fog, I can't see any red patches to show they are ahead of me.

Any help would be much appreciated, even if it means resetting my atlas!
