Trial of Chaos - Soft Lock

Title says it all, I get soft locked no matter what i do. Ive tried a couple Ultimatums now but i can complete the first encounter no problem at all but the second one (Blood Tower thingy) nothing happens. I can take the elivator down but nothing happens. Ive tried at different times. At lvl 38, lvl 62. Nothing changes so ive been stuck at 1 Asendency this hole time and its pretty annoying.
