Abyss rare mobs cannot be damaged from range

I had few instances today where i am unable to damaged any RARE abyss mobs from range (no its not proximal tangibility) whenever i encounter them. I had to get up close and personal (and sometimes even then it doesnt seem to damaged them, like they have invulnerability or something) to kill them. sometimes i also need to reposition behind them to actually be able to damage/kill them. I am unfortunately unable to provide any video for this as my computer cannot record any gameplay (same for almost all games even arc raiders). please look into it, i am a range char.. it defeats the purpose of being range if i have to look them in the eyes and kill while whispering sweet nothings in their ears. thanks
