Eldritch Battery is broken bug report

As the title states if you take Eldritch battery and you take % energy nodes in the tree even though your energy shield is increasing Eldritch battery does not take this into consideration which pretty much makes all the energy shield nodes actually useless which in turn makes Eldritch battery half ass working. If this is intended than the wording on Eldritch battery needs to be changed if not its just bugged.

After reading the skill conversion in POE 2 works differently from POE 1 not a bug disregard post. Still ass though just saying POE 2 strikes again anti fun builds.

Conversion in poe2 takes the base stat only. The converted stats are only affected by modifiers to the new stat, not the original.
