character frozen after revealing dessacration and losing item afterwards

Hi

Super crazy bug:

I throw a weapon to the well, no item came back, screen was frozen, I exit and get back in again but no item in inventory (item just gone?).

This seems to happen randomly when using the skin that makes you a statue.
