towers not working even AFTER killing the boss AND activating the beacon

I had this issue for about 2 days, i go in the tower map, kill the boss, activate the beacon and it says map completed but it doesn't reveal the maps.

note: i was using the grand project tablet with these towers.

I tried restarting the game but nothing happened.

I would really like some help, ty!

This happened to me TWO towers in a row. Given that this is how I intended to open the map and gain currency, it's just a little frustrating...
