Is it possible to play on different platforms with the same account? I bought PoE 2 on PS5 and would like to play it on PC. When I try to log in to the game on PC using my PSN account, I get an error.

As a general rule, when you're looking for help with error messages it helps if you tell people what it says, as the point of an error message is to explain the problem and - if you don't tell people what the error says - they have no way of knowing. We can't read your mind.
I'm not clear what you mean by "log in to the game [...] my PSN account". Are you trying to input your PSN account's email address and password into the game client? Sony aren't going to tell GGG (or anyone else) your password, so the game wouldn't have any way of knowing what it is you are doing there. If you want to play the game on PC, you would have to purchase it on PC. Having spent thousands of euros on Path of Exile over the years, I will not be further supporting it financially until and unless GGG resumes offering Technical Support.

Cross-platform means you can play as the same character on both PS5 and PC. However, you must obtain access for each platform (PS5, Xbox, PC) separately. You will then need to link your PS5 and PC accounts in your profile https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/connections.
