Black screen crash + GPU signal loss since latest patch (PC restart required)

Hello,

Since the latest Path of Exile 2 patch, I’ve been experiencing serious stability issues.

I’m getting frequent crashes with the following symptoms:

Black screen

Complete loss of video signal

GPU appears to freeze

Forced to restart the PC

Important detail: I can still hear people talking on Discord when it happens, which suggests this is not a full system crash, but rather the game (or something GPU-related triggered by the game).

For reference:

I have zero issues with any other games

I completely uninstalled the game

Deleted all remaining files

Reinstalled it cleanly

Tried multiple troubleshooting steps (drivers, verification, etc.) with no success

I also noticed that crashes seem to happen more frequently when Discord is running.

The issue started only after the latest patch.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Does the Event Viewer have any relevant incidents recorded?



On the left, click on Windows Logs, and then System

On the right, click on Filter Current Log, and tick event levels Critical and Error
