Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary

Hi can someone give me some advice I could gladly link my bad gear etc if its recquired.

First thing is that Eldrich Battery Skill I don't get it I mean it makes you protect energy shield instead of life is this just to be able to cast spells without having mana pots?

I even still have one for no reason though. And why does this build need alot of energy shield if I can cast my spells with just a little energy shield? I have 613 ES and doing "fine" with that.

SO my CONCERN is that in a map called Fungal Hollow Map there is a boss called "Oak" or atleast its the oak boss you know what I mean that guy with the totems there.

Well I get one shot by his attacks and I don't wanna be that anymore so could someone give me some advice please I THINK its physical damage that like one shots me and I can't even escape / kite him either.

One more thing is that I have -48% chaos resistence wich is not good right? advice?.

I can answer one of your questions.
This build needs alot of energy shield because later, you will take Mind Over Matter keystone. What this does is redirecting 30% of the damage you take to your Mana first, instead of your Energy Shield. The more Energy Shield you have, the more tanky you are.

As protestantfuckbucket said, you want to pick up MoM but only with enough ES to support yourself. Aim for 30-43% of your life as ES to allow your ES to absorb 30% damage taken. 43% will ensure the damage never ooms you. Ignore chaos res for now. It isn’t nearly as important as the other resistances. Also, if you are dying, then drop the Tabula Rasa in favor of a 5L with defenses.

I would go with the new build on your standard witch. If you just got to maps then you haven’t really invested in anything contrary to the new build. This build is designed to be easier to use early maps, and all the idiots bashing it on this forums aren’t even remotely following it correctly. Sure, there is room to change it to personal preference, but I only recommend that if you know what you’re doing. For someone new to the build, follow it exactly.

I've bought the Transcendent Mind, put it near Alchemist but without Zealot's Oath, sometimes I got slapped hard by a boss or a mob, I would have nothing to cast. I tried with Transcendent Mind + Zealot's Oath, it feels much more smoother.

You need to get the passive nodes that reduce the reservation cost of aura skills: The one just above Necormatic Aegis (Leadership notable), the ones on the Templar side of the tree - Sovereignty notable.

You might need to take Herald of Thunder instead of Wrath until you get those.

You'll also need Eldritch Battery (EB) to have mana to cast spells. According to the guide, you'll pick up EB near the end of Act 3. You'll also want some form of Energy Shield leech in order to speed up ES regen. Heart of Thunder has some, and then there's the Energy Leech Support gem.

Great guide Enki, noob here! I wanted to ask should i keep unleash or control destruction in my arc 6l? i really do not understand how unleash benefits the build compared to controlled destruction. Thnx in advance!

Hi guys, perhpas my first post since i play poe. I come here to give my feedback on this 3.6 updated build and helps some news players who struggle a bit.

The leveling was a bit harsh withtout any decoy totem and CwDT in the build. Died a bit too much vs boss act 6 and more, however Enki did well to updated this leveling section, adding some defensive spell, who works very well. I see a lot of post complaining about the talent "EB", well you are right, this one is a bit "useless" without a decent amount of ES BUT after this its like the last season : with 1k ES + MOM its works fine. A tips : Hearthbreaker HELPS A LOT to sustain your ES when you dont any source of sustain and its a cheap weapons until your next craft/buy. Just play safe during leveling, you can all in when upgrade your stuff for mapping.

Just a fact, you dont need to follow this build 100%. You can do some variations if you are not agree with him. For my case, i dont play with WB because with a perma 100% proc ONSLAUGHT + the speed potion, i one tap everything and move on so fast.

Perhpas for me its the first build, right now i could tell, i can do the late game. HUGE burst with the trap, a perma ONSLAUGHT (MOVE FAST). Last things : the very late build seems to be very expensive right now : Inpulsa around 3ex, The Devouring Diadem seems to be too op for our build but its cost around 20ex in standard and it only drop on Catarina (RIP Syndicat).

When you get a decent stuff this build is god : Safe, HUGE DAMAGE INPUT, and clear speed.

Ha yeah, last things : if you dont want to play with WB dont take only dagger in weapons : hard to found decent dagger SPELL DAMAGE and you can have much better if you take a wand with a small amount of currency.

Here my stuff : (my weapons are like : 8 chaos ; chest 55 chaos ; Atziri : 10c ; boots : 7c and the rest is about 10c )




Edit : currently on mapping : T8-T9 and no issues (just be careful when you took the portal to the memories, can be awfull to pop in the middle on an army)

Edit 2 : if you need a specific ITEM but you dont have too much currency, you can "ACTIVATE LIVE SEARCH" in POE Trade, choose your maximum "Buyout Price" and wait an item with your options. Can be long but rewarding if you are not in the RUSH to buy.
