Does this do enough damage to kill bosses in Tier 15/16 maps? My friends are being very annoying saying its a meme build and it doesnt work end-game in 3.9...

What are your thoughts on the various expensive Arc gems? You mentioned that a level 21 Arc is better than a 20 Vaal Arc, but how does all of that interact with quality and corrupting gems? Obviously the level 21 Vaal Arc w/ 20 quality is the best gem, but it's also double the price of a 20 quality 21 normal Arc.

Is Duskdawn needed? Its lower dps then my current rare one. Is it so expansive because of the additional attack block chance? (10%?)

Loving the build.
Curious as to a few specific possibilities: 1) Gaining a 2nd Curse via anointing Whispers of Doom (or pathing there using 4 points) Adding a "Curse enemies with level x Conductivity" ring in the slot opposite to "Curse enemies with level x Assassin's Mark". I feel like this gain in elemental pen would be pretty significant. 2) Anointing Fingers of Frost for even more control - I feel like this is a little more niche, BUT if you're really loving "Palpatine Freeze Mode", its not a terrible choice, right? |

" Unless I'm wrong - Vaal Arc's quality doesn't actually do anything if you're using Three Dragons, because it affects Shock, but you're not "Shocking" with Vaal Arc, you're Chilling/Freezing. |

I understood Three Dragons to be "if you shock, you freeze instead" so any shock chance from quality just means that you get freeze chance. That might be incorrect. I have no idea.

" I looked at your staff and I don't think it is actually more DPS than a 5L duskdawn. Are you using the in-game dps or Path of Building, because in game DPS does not take a lot of things into account. All of the additional crit modifiers will add a significant amount of DPS. If you need to go with a 5L duskdawn (or no-link w/ Jeweler's Touch Prophecy to 5L it) then put your arc setup in your chest and your golem setup in your weapon and take out the minion life support. It'll make them less tanky but you can just resummon when needed. " I haven't tested it myself, so I can't say 100% but I have read this entire thread from the 3.9 starting point and a lot of people have mentioned that it is a waste to quality your arc/vaal arc as the additional shock % will go to waste. |
