Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page
First of all big kudos for this build and all the work you've put into it!
So I have a question: I've been using this flask for quite some time now and today it suddenly hit me that Archmage boost depends on mana cost. And so I wonder does this flask negate Archmage effect or flask's mana cost removal works some other way? I can't say I lack damage, but I barely scratched yellow maps so far (time and currency starved to push further and/or juice maps). Anyways gonna check it out, but I'm yet to get accustomed to not see damage numbers as a measure of my dmg output... Yes, all the time spent in D3 and Grim Dawn %) |

" A very well constructed and thought out post. Thanks for your contribution. |

" First of all, check if your damage numbers change while it's active. If it goes way down, then you have your answer. |

" Ok thank you How is your damage to bosses and survivability in red maps |

Just wondering what upgrades i could work on next with this build i can do maps but my mana sustain against bosses isn't great, im 2/3 trigger socketed gems so i will be putting that on my wand next obviously change tabula to a rare with mana etc.... and my two stone ring is awful i know, but if someone can give me some sort of advice on how i can sustain my mana better and overall damage upgrade for T16's would be awesome!

" Definitely feel you on the lack of transparency in this game for the amount of damage you are actually dealing at any particular moment. Not sure if that's by GGG's design, or if it would just not work very well because PoE has WAY more complexity to its damage calculations than other games. Don't use that flask, it will neutralize the effect of Archmage and turn your damage into absolute garbage in the endgame. You're way better off with an enduring eternal mana flask of warding (at least that's my favorite suffix because you can get so much more uptime out of a mana flask than any other type of flask). But TarrasqueSorcerer is right, you can easily observe the effect on your damage if you hover over your Arc tooltip DPS and then pop the flask. I'd imagine the number plummets as soon as you use the flask and snaps back to normal as soon as the flask effect is finished. Última edição por WorderMostFoul#7154 em 26 de jun de 2020 17:41:33

" ---- I chose not to use it. The only deviation I made from Enki's build. To elaborate why, it was similar to you...we already have 30% buffer from mind over matter and I decided to put arcane shield on my left click for convenience. That triggers every 4 seconds. I have 500ish ES that would be wasted and the Agnostic was putting me OOM in the worst possible times. It was a no-brainer for me and I have good mana regen 500 mana per second. |

Ayman, you asked how my experience is in red maps and I have not got there yet on purpose.
I did this build in Delve League as an Elementalist and I really enjoyed the play style but it was fragile. Since then I have done mines and Cyclone..... I decided to try this again when Enki did the switch to Necro - a class I have never played. Since I have played since 2013 I know a lot about POE and I knew that you would require all the mechanisms in place for this build to work well - it is not one you can get to red maps then optimize. As for my experience so far since I have the basics in place? It's good, it is way more tanky than previously - the arc rework looks good and it is fun to play. But, it is way more difficult to do bosses than other builds because the burst is probably 1/3 of mines and you don't have the fortify, blind, endurance charges and damage while moving like cyclone. I suspect that Enki will agree with my assessment. Última edição por MrWonderful99#4612 em 25 de jun de 2020 22:08:51
