I just wanted to say thank you for this awesome build. It was my starter for Delve and it was a great pleasure to make it progress these past months. Yesterday i beated the Shaper for the first time ! I was so happy !

I still have to beat the uber elder fight. I made it spawn, now i just need the courage and determination. I’ll get there !

I’m still trying to improve my single target dps. I see where i can get minor improvements on my equipment, but it seems that i can’t get near the same numbers as yours (according to PoB).

None of these items are really worth it for this build anymore. We're noncrit now, so freezes wouldn't be as reliable and Inpulsa's has taken over the role of corpse disposal with additional benefits now. Vinktar simply got butchered too much, it's limited to one use in bossfights and doesn't really give anything that makes it worth the flask slot for us. Taste of Hate is somewhat okay for the defensive aspect, but way too expensive for that and we'd lose a valuable flask suffix.

I still have the legacy vessel with 30% instant leech and 2 charges per fight



And I still have the legacy taste of hate 30% dmg taken as cold dmg instead of 20%

Hi, Im pretty new to POE and came across your guide so figured id give it a go for my first toon. thanks for all the helpful info. I do have one question and forgive me if its already been addressed or im just missing something as a noob.
you have the clarity gem linked with CWDT and enfeeble. but it seems as tho the CWDT will not proc clarity due to the mana reserve associated with clarity. am I missing something? also Even if it does work, why would you choose for clarity to only proc after a certain amount of dmg soak rather than just having it active always? as I said im a noob and only lvl 40 atm. thanks again for the guide and your time responding!

Dual wield works surprisingly well, a lot better than I expected. In my case it's more than 150k dps difference with dual wield vs ahn's shield (and I think that it's worth trading Ahn's defences for THAT amount of damage, it's even more than +1lvl gems Inpulsa's corruption gives to me).
I'm not sure how it's possible to make a budget version of dual wield setup, since you can only get cast speed on shaped dagger, but as an endgame option it's definitely worth it.
I don't see any difference between whirling blades and shield charge, both are kinda the same for me. But when I tried dual wield sceptres and my only movement skill was flame dash - this is where I had problems on uber elder and at high depth delve: 3 charges of flame dash is just not enough to consistantly avoid threats.
p.s. It's easier to get 150% shock effectiveness with two extra jewel slots (without fragility jewels), it's good too.

Feel free to ask questions, it'a absolutely fine.
You can put clarity in any free slot, you don't have to link it with anything. You just turn it ON manually - it's an aura.

I've been following this guide in Hardcore, got most mandantory items except Watcher's Eye, the flasks & the enchant. The damage feels absolutely fine, so I'll upgrade there slowly.

My problem is the survivability - I have around 1.8-2k armour, somewhere around that. About 5k life + 1k ES (from Cerberus Limb) and ~2.5k mana, in Delves etc. I'm pretty fine, but I'd like to know how you manage bosses like Minotaur or other hard hitting phys bosses.

We don't know almost anything about the next league, patchnotes are gonna be released in like 2-3 days before the release.

I've hit level 100 with the exact setup written by Enki here, then started trying different stuff.

If anyone is wondering Lightning Spire Trap with crits/dual wielding (No elemental overload) is not bad either, just added them on top of this build without investing too much into them.

It makes a huge difference on killing delve bosses beyond depth 400, other than that it is not really necessary. Since bosses tend to stand still, traps do huge amount of reliable damage.

I use Loreweave to compansate the lack of max resistances + onslaught jewels, though it is not necessary, it is just needed for high depth delving. Probably I can improve my DPS by a lot if I balance my wise oak on stygian belt with some resists instead of headhunter. (Have resistance mod on all my jewels, instead of additional crit multi.)
